HTC Ozone comes to Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless and HTC have announced a new smartphone to add to their lineup this summer. The Verizon Wireless HTC Ozone is powered by Windows Mobile and offers a number of connectivity options for subscribers. The smartphone supports the Verizon Wireless 3G network in addition to global roaming.
Of great interest to many subscribers looking to speed up online connections is the HTC Ozone’s support of Wi-Fi. The smartphone features a QWERTY keyboard and even includes international charging adaptors for thoes taking advantage of the phone’s global roaming features. Owners of the HTC Ozone will be able to access frequently used features by accessing the phones “sliding panel” user interface.
The phone supports mobile IM including AOL IM, Windows Messenger, and Yahoo! Messenger. It also supports mobile email including Yahoo!, Hotmail, AOL, and Windows Live Seamless Microsoft Exchange Synchronization with Microsoft Office Mobile. Assisting in the ability to keep in touch with friends and family is the phone’s one-touch messaging key for quick connections.

SONY ERICSSON LAUNCHES XPERIA 2

It seems that the XPERIA line is going to include more handsets than the already famous X1. We have barely got a decent launch date for that smartphone and already people are hunting down spy shots of its successor. In case you are a believer, here is how XPERIA X2 will look,
X2 is a horizontal slider that features a similar interface to the one we have seen shown on the X1 at the 2008 Mobile World Congress. The Windows Vista Mobile OS and it is not the first time I have such futuristic specs on a Sony Ericsson device. Strangely enough, one of the video slides says Windows Mobile 7, but we will leave at that, because this version is more believable. This XPERIA X2 concept is a smartphone with a 3G camera, 2 game buttons, a 3.9 inch widescreen multitouch display and a D-pad.

It also comes with a sliding backpanel that covers a 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus and a sliding touchscreen keyboard. The concept belongs to Laus Nissen and this version of the X2 seems a little less credible than the first one

GOOGLE INTROS ADSENSE FOR MOBILE APPLICATION

Google has announced the beta release of AdSense for Mobile Applications, available at the moment only for iPhone and Android smartphones.Leveraging on the fact that people use more and more smartphones, which come with a continuously increased number of applications, Google wants to make things easier for developers, publishers and end users.

More exactly, thanks to the AdSense ads for Mobile Applications, app developers will earn some extra revenue, publishers will reach more customers, and users would see only ads that are relevant to them.

THE NEW LG FLATRON-LCD M228WD

The LG Flatron M228WD was spotted recently on many sites so why not we take a look at it ourselves too. The LCD TV is a 22 inch one very similar to the LG M228WA with just a letter difference. The good thing about this one is that it comes with the HDMI port instead of the DVI one with an integrated digital TV tuner.

The LG Flatron M228WD has a resolution of 1680 x 1050, with 300 cd/m2 brightness with 5ms response time. The TV does have a slightly low contrast ratio of 3000:1.

Price is rumored to be around $400 so its not that pricey.
